I was obsessed with seeing myself get smaller, I was obsessed with seeing the number on the scale go down, and I was obsessed with controlling what went into my body.
But as I got deeper and deeper into my fitness journey I saw just how important that balance was and how shrinking myself was not the key to happiness. I didn’t need to be going from one extreme to the next to get the life I wanted. Life is meant to be lived.
